Happy October! It's my birthday month! I am going to attempt to make blogging my personality again. I am trying so hard to stay motivated to blog. Sometimes, it's hard. It's mostly me comparing my posts and numbers to others. As we all know, comparison is a thief of joy. I just need to remember I am doing this for fun.
I'm not going to lie, I did cut a few of the questions. This is a long book tag as it is and I honestly didn't feel like answering some of the questions.

I saw Lila over at HardCoverHaven do this tag not too long ago and knew I had to also do it! We may not have a real fall here in Florida, but it is the start of my favorite time of year as I do decorate for Christmas in October... don't judge me.
With that being said, I'm gonna get started with this tag!
Yes, I am making this post while drinking my pumpkin spice coffee if anyone needed to know.
show us an autumnal book that you love & feel deserves more attention!
Ninth House by Leigh BardugoI think Ninth House is such a strong autumnal book. It gives all the good fall vibes; a little bit spooky and a little bit dark.

After surviving a brutal, unsolved multiple homicide, she’s unexpectedly offered a full scholarship to Yale. what is your most anticipated book release for fall of 2025?
I read and loved Bride earlier this year and I need to have this book in my hands immediately. I honestly was so scared to read this book due to the omega verse aspects. Luckily, I was not bothered at all!

show us a newly-ish released book with an autumnal/cozy book cover!
If this book cover doesn't give you fall vibes, I do not know what will. I have read a book or two by Hannah before and absolutely loved them. Unfortunately, this book doesn't have the best reviews on Goodreads so I'm a bit hesitant to pick this one up.

what is your favorite suspenseful or spooky book?
I don't read a lot of suspenseful or spooky books... they are just not my jam. I did read this book last year and really enjoyed my time with it. I definitely wanted to read more from this author after reading this... I just have not picked anything else up.

I have the Barbie first edition of TOG. My wonderful husband bought this for my birthday about two years ago. I was really hoping I'd find it for super cheap... that only happens to lucky people and I am not one of those.

show us one of your comfort reads!
You may argue with me that this is not a comfort read. To me, it is. I was in a time in my life where I was thinking that books with any type of fantasy in it were not my thing anymore. This book made me love fantasy/romantasy again. I will reread it every year.

what is the last audiobook you enjoyed?
At the time of posting this, this is the last book I read via audiobook. I really enjoyed my time with this one. I feel like the narrator did a fantastic job telling this story. I immediately bought the rest of the books in this series that I didn't already have.
A thousand years ago, Dianna sacrificed her life in Eoria’s deserts to save her sister, unknowingly binding herself to Kaden, a monstrous force who now commands her to recover a powerful relic. Meanwhile, Samkiel, once a feared king known as the World Ender and now living as Liam, emerges from hiding after an attack threatens those he loves. Forced to confront enemies thought long imprisoned, Dianna and Liam must set aside ancient grudges to protect not only their world but every realm that lies between.
talk about an autumnal book that you thought you’d love but didn’t.
You might not consider this an autumnal book, I do. Something about the Anastasia story screams autumn to me. I wanted to love this book. I personally think it might have been too long and would have been better if it were a 100+ pages shorter.
Anastasia is the princess no one needs: the fourth daughter born to an emperor without a son, and the only royal lacking a magical gift.
Until she collides with a young Cossack rebel, changing both their lives forever.
Damien is taken from everything he knows and raised as a ward of the Romanovs.
Anastasia develops a strange kind of magic shared only by the Black Monk Rasputin.
While her power grows in secret, boosted by forbidden contact with Damien, Anastasia makes a mistake with terrible consequences.
Fate grants her a single chance to set it right… but saving what she lost may cost everything she loves.
I'm not going to lie, I did cut a few of the questions. This is a long book tag as it is and I honestly didn't feel like answering some of the questions.
