If you know me, you'll know that I do not really care for monthly tbrs. I don't like having a set list of books to read. I have decided that for the year of 2026, I am going to try monthly tbrs. The huge key word is try.
For these tbrs, I am only going to list five books. Two books will be chosen at random and the other three will be picked by my mood. I will obviously read more than five books in a month. I do have an arc I need to read... an odd thing to say because I feel like I haven't received one in so long.
The Last Encore by Elodie Colliard: (random pick) This book has been on my shelves for about three years. Unfortunately, it does not have the best reviews. It is currently sitting at 3.44 on Goodreads. I try to not let other opinions dictate what I feel about a book. There's a chance I will like this book!
A Love Letter To Whiskey by Kandi Steiner: (random pick) Well, I am apparently in a world of hurt for the first month of the new year. I have heard so many good things about this book. I am definitely excited for this one!
The Wolf King by Lauren Palphreyman: I have had my eyes on this book for like two months. I think I'm definitely going to get to this one this month!
Helfyre by Mariel Pomeroy: This one has been on my shelves for roughly three years. There is someone I follow on Instagram that is obsessed with this book and it definitely has made me want to pick this one up.
King Of Greed by Ana Huang: I kind of made a goal for myself that I want to get caught up in this series. I have read the first two books so this is the next one I need to read!

I keep seeing A Love Letter to Whiskey anywhere and the cover keeps intriguing me... might need to check it out. Happy reading! :D
